WINTER HOLIDAYS - FAMILY OFFERS
The first offers for the winter holidays start appearing as early as in November. This is actually a good time, because organising a trip with children requires a lot of thinking and precise planning. The particularly sought-after family packages involve:
- staying in large family rooms so that the family can be close together. The most wanted rooms are for 4 and 5 people, with a king bed for parents and single beds for children
- staying in hotels which provide amenities for children: menu, high chairs for babies, playroom, TV room, organised activities, rental of a cot with sheets
- staying in hotels with affordable prices
- rooms are only a base for visiting the region’s attractions
- flexible hours of serving meals, breakfasts with warm dishes, warming soups and hot tea included in stay packages
- discount tickets to the region's attractions and other amenities for travellers
- free parking, extensive information about the nearby attractions and the possibility to purchase tickets at the hotel reception desk
- hotels with fast and open Internet access – this is particularly important for young people who want to stay present on social media at all times
- children’s stays free of charge or at discount prices
WINTER HOLIDAYS – WHERE TO TRAVEL?
The mountains have always been the most popular destination, not only in Poland, but also in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. People usually go there to do winter sports: downhill skiing, sled riding or snowboarding. Tourists also like staying in Podhale-style highlander cottages with interesting architecture and eating traditional highlander cuisine.
The second most popular place for leisure during the winter holidays is water parks. In Mazovia we have SUNTAGO PARK OF POLAND and MSZCZONÓW THERMAL BATHS, as well as the thermal baths in Uniejów. Spending a whole day in the tropical climate of SUNTAGO is a really attractive prospect, not least because it provides an experience so different from the weather outside. The SUNTAGO water park also provides a lot of other attractions, such as: slides, pools, saunas and restaurants serving cuisines from various parts of the world. You can read our blog entry if you need more information.
Thermal baths with hot healing waters are a good choice as well. They may not be as attractive as water parks, but they are much less crowded and costly, making them more easily available to big families. Located 50 km from Warsaw, the MSZCZONÓW THERMAL BATHS are famous for their healing waters. Bathing in hot water in snowy weather is a truly great experience. In winter, the MSZCZONÓW THERMAL BATHS provide one outdoor pool, saunas and a salt cave for visitors. The thermal baths in Uniejów, 2 hours from Warsaw, have even more to offer.
WINTER HOLIDAYS NEAR WARSAW
Since the pandemic we have become even more fond of family vacations, but their destinations are different now. We like to pick smaller, less crowded locations not far from home. Local tourism is on the rise thanks to the emerging slow travel trend. Travelling to interesting but lesser-known regional attractions has become an interesting topic to share with your friends. Slow travel often brings educational benefits, particularly valuable when you are travelling with children. It also allows you to focus more on being here and now and spend some quality spare time with your family.
This form of tourism promotes staying in places close to the various attractions that we want to visit. The hotel becomes a base to spend the night in, where comfortable beds and good cuisine are highly valued. However, all of our energy goes into exploring the local attractions. With the preferences of our guests in mind, we have prepared the WINTER HOLIDAYS NEAR WARSAW stay package. The WINTER HOLIDAYS NEAR WARSAW stay package is a compact package consisting of a full board stay and additional amenities for families with children. You can find out more on our website, in the stay packages tab.
Hotel Panorama is a perfect base for local trips due to its location – just 50 km from Warsaw, close to the S8 expressway. Panorama is close to the region's water attractions:
- 7 km to SUNTAGO PARK OF POLAND – the biggest indoor water park in Europe
- 1,5 km to MSZCZONÓW THERMAL BATHS
- 1.5 km to DEEPSPOT – the deepest diving pool in Europe
